The liquid laminate of the Tulip table is made by spray painting containing plastic materials, in order to make the MDF laminate water-repellent and particularly resistant to scratches.

It fits perfectly both in the kitchen, in the living room or in the office, giving a touch of elegance and design that will not go unnoticed.

Eero Saarinen conceived the Tulip table in the early 1940s as part of the research promoted by MOMA in New York, entitled "Organic design in home furnishing collection".

The Saarinen table and chair certainly represent Eero Saarinen's most famous creations and perfectly capture both the designer's ability to combine shapes, colors and materials, and his propensity for minimalist design.

A historic and timeless chair.
Thanks to its well-proportioned feminine shape, it fully fits into the New Look trend of the 1950s, characterized by a predilection for the "wasp waist".
Jacobsen, inspired by the work of Charles Eames, has developed a light and stackable chair, formed by a plywood seat modeled and mounted on a frame of four legs in tubular metal with a reduced diameter.
